I can’t believe summer break is already coming to an end! It seems like just yesterday I was wishing for Spring’s arrival!

Sarah Carter Photography is excited to host a Back to School Cutest Kid Contest!! Beginning Sunday, July 24, 2011 you will be able to submit a photo of your cute kid for voting on Facebook. The winner will receive a complimentary outdoor fall mini session with SCP, as well as 5 high resolution digital images on CD.

To Enter the Contest:

Photo must have been taken in the past 6 months
You must have permission/rights to use the photo submitted
Child must be 15 years old or younger upon date of entry
You must be the parent or legal guardian of the child you enter into the contest
Only one entry per child
Photos must be e-mailed to sarah@sarahcarterphotography.com with a subject of “Cutest Kid Contest” in order to be accepted into the contest
Photos may be entered into the contest from 4pm CST on Sunday, July 24, 2011 through 4pm CST on Wednesday, July 27, 2011
Please include your child’s name and age in your entry e-mail, as well as your name and contact information
You must live within 40 miles of Jonesboro, AR or be willing to make the drive to my home studio/outdoor property in order to claim your prize shoot

Voting and Judging:

Photos will be uploaded into an album on Sarah Carter Photography’s Facebook page by 11:59pm CST on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 – voting begins immediately
To vote for a photo, you must be a fan and ‘like’ Sarah Carter Photography on Facebook
Click ‘like’ for the photo you want to vote for in the SCP album named “Back to School Cutest Kid Contest”
The photo with the most ‘likes’ will be the winner – comments are NOT counted towards the total number of votes
Voting will close on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at 9pm CST
Official winner will be notified and announced on the Sarah Carter Photography blog on Monday, August 1, 2011


What you win:

The parent/legal guardian of the child in the photo that receives the most ‘likes’ will receive a complimentary outdoor fall mini session with Sarah Carter Photography, as well as 5 high resolution images on CD (Session will be 30 minutes in length and you will have 8-10 fully edited images to choose your free prize from)
Prize is valued at $299
Photo session must be booked within 30 days of winning, and completed before November 1, 2011
No other promotions or discounts can be applied

My second baby planner of the week came to see me yesterday, and wow, has this boy grown!! I’m almost positive that he (at 3 months) is quite a bit longer than my own 7 month old baby girl! This little Arkansas Razorback in training was every bit as adorable as he was the first time I met him, and I can’t wait to see how much he grows throughout the rest of the year! Not a new product, but by far the most popular option available for frameless portraits – this is the Gallery Wrapped Canvas (shown in 20×24). Canvas is tightly wrapped around 1 1/2″ museum quality stretcher bars. These truly are works of art and are a wonderful way to showcase your family’s custom images.
